How many cardinals can you find in this photo?

This photo was taken during the snow we had a couple of weeks ago but I just got the photos back from the developer. My old digital camera just could not get a very good picture that day. My wish list includes a new digital camera with Zoom!

RAIN, RAIN, BLESSED RAIN. WIND, WIND, ROARING WIND.

We received about 1.2 inches of rain in the last week and one half. Thank you, Lord. It is unbelievable how quickly everything is turning green. My daffodills are beautiful. The Redbuds are budding. The wind is roaring. I guess that is the Lord’s way of making sure all the pollen gets transferred about in the spring. Allergies are dripping, sneezing, coughing, etc. It is Spring!

We are supposed to get more rain by the end of this week. I surely hope so. My lawn has never been this bare. The picture is of my daffodills that line a rock walk from my carport to the front porch. My attempt at a Japanese style shade garden is in the background. If we get more rain, perhaps the Ivy and Lily of the Valley will green up around the stone swan. I usually plant Impatiens in the swan but it is too early to do that yet.

It is funny how you look at something all the time and it looks so different in a photo. I need to work on the rock retaining walls around the swan. Had not noticed that before. Looks so bare without the plants that grow in the summer.
